StoneBilt Concepts® Wood Burning Fire Pit Installation Instructions
Step 1
Step 2
Lay out your first layer of modular wall blocks.
The first layer will contain 5 large, 5 medium,
and 6 small blocks. The front corners of the
blocks should be touching and a complete circle
will measure approximately 46” in outside di-
ameter. Measure in several places across your
circle to ensure it is round.
Dry lay your second layer of modular wall blocks on
top of the first layer. The second layer will contain 6
large, 5 medium, and 4 small blocks. Ensure the joints
between your blocks on this course do not line up with
the joints of the blocks of the course below. After you
are sure you are satisfied with your placement, pick up
one block at a time, apply a landscape block adhesive
and replace the block to it’s position.
Step 3 Step 4
Repeat step 2 for the third layer. This layer will
contain 5 large, 5 medium and 6 small blocks.
Insert the metal fire ring in the middle of your modular
wall blocks. Ensure there is an even space between
the ring and the blocks around the complete circle.
Step 5 Step 6
Dry lay the 4-piece cap stones atop your modu-
lar blocks. When you are satisfied with their
placement, pick up one cap unit at a time, apply
a landscape block adhesive and replace the unit
to it’s position.
Allow your landscape block adhesive to dry for at least
24 hours. Fill the inner fire ring with a two inch thick
layer of gravel to protect the surface below your fire
pit. Additional gravel can be added if desired. Stack
wood and ignite. For best results, keep flames cen-
tered within the fire ring. Enjoy your StoneBilt Con-
cepts Wood Burning Fire Pit!
