6.27 Motor control
The STM32MP157F-EV1 board supports both asynchronous and synchronous 3-phase brushless motor control
via the 34-pin connector
MB1262/CN22, which provides all required control and feedback signals, to and from the
motor power-driving board.
Available signals on this connector include emergency stop, motor speed, 3-phase motor current, bus voltage,
heatsink temperature coming from the motor driving board and 6 channels of PWM control signal (MC-xH/L)
going to the motor driving circuit.
6.27.1 Motor control I/O interface
Because of I/O consuming limitation, the motor control I/O interface is not enabled by default. As described below,
some board modifications are needed to connect the motor control interface.
T
able 44 describes the assignment of the MB1262/CN22 motor control interface and the I/O function associated
from the STM32MP157FAA1.
