Troubleshooting

Before starting troubleshooting, operate the unit until it is no longer under pressure – if pressure is not released, solution may

escape unexpectedly when working on the hose and pump system.

After servicing, carry out test run with clean water.

Condition Cause Remedy

No spray from nozzle Hose and wand system blocked Rinse and clean all parts of the hose and

wand system with clean water (spray gun,

filter in gun, spray wand, hose)

Water accumulates in piston. Liquid has been stored in the tank for too long Remove the piston from the pump and

lubricate the pump with oil

. Rinse the

tank with clean water after every use

Liquid leaks from top of pump when

pumping.

Worn O-ring on piston Fit new O-ring on piston

Lever falls down under own weight Ball (intake side) is sticking Remove hose from bottom of pump hous-

ing and take out the ball. Clean the ball

and make sure it moves freely

Lever moves upwards of its own

accord

Ball (delivery side) is sticking Open screw plug in the pump housing and

take out the ball. Clean the ball and make

sure it moves freely

Pumping action produces no pressure No suction Fit new O-ring on piston

. Check that

balls in the pump housing’s valve seats

are properly seated and not sticking
