Interrupted reception
The robotic mower receives no
wire signal:
The text "No wire signal –
Check connection" appears on
the display.
The robotic mower receives a
faulty wire signal:
The text "Check wire signal"
appears on the display.
The robotic mower receives a
reversed-polarity wire signal:
The text "Connections swapped
or iMOW® outside" appears on
the display.
Possible cause:
Temporary malfunction
Robotic mower is not docked
Perimeter wire has been connected
incorrectly (reversed polarity)
Docking station is switched off or not
connected to mains supply
Faulty plug connections
Minimum perimeter wire length not
reached
A coiled power cable in the vicinity of
the docking station
Perimeter wire ends excessively long or
not sufficiently twisted together
Perimeter wire break
Extraneous signals such as a mobile
phone or the signal from another
docking station
Live underground cables, reinforced
concrete or disruptive metals in the
ground under the docking station
Maximum length of the perimeter wire
exceeded (Ö 12.1)
Remedy:
Repeat linking without other corrective
action
Dock the robotic mower (Ö 15.7)
Connect the perimeter wire ends
correctly (Ö 9.10)
Check the docking station mains
connection, roll out the power cable in
the vicinity of the docking station, do not
set down coiled
Check the seating of the wire ends in
the terminal block, shorten excessively
long wire ends and twist the wire ends
together (Ö 9.10)
For smaller mowing areas with a wire
length of less than 80 m, the accessory
AKM 100 must be installed together
with the perimeter wire (Ö 9.9)
Check the LED indicator on the docking
station (Ö 13.1)
Repair the wire break
Switch off mobile phones or nearby
docking stations
Change the position of the docking
station or remove interference sources
under the docking station
Use a perimeter wire with larger cross
section (special accessory)
Following the appropriate corrective
action, repeat linkage by pressing
the OK button.
9.12 Checking installation
Start edge following by pressing the
OK button – this does not activate the
mowing blade.
RMI 632 C, RMI 632 PC:
"Standard" energy mode is
activated following successful
linking. (Ö 11.10)
Contact your specialist dealer if the
measures described above do not
result in a correct wire signal.
The robotic mower alternately
follows the edge of the mowing
area in both directions during
running operation after initial
installation. Edge following should
therefore also be checked in both
directions during initial installation.
RMI 632 C, RMI 632 PC:
Edge following is used to define the
home area of the robotic mower.
(Ö 14.5)
If the robotic mower is not receiving
a GPS signal before starting edge
following, the text "Waiting for GPS"
appears on the display. The robotic
mower starts edge following after a
few minutes despite no GPS signal
being received.
