17 Inspection and Maintenance
17.2 Inspecting and Maintaining the Pressure
Washer
WARNING
Before carrying out any of the maintenance work specified in
this chapter @ 6, take certain measures to reduce the risk
of personal injury from unintended activation: switch off the
pressure washer and disconnect the unit from the power
supply. Relieve all system pressure and lock the spray gun
trigger.
Proper maintenance of the pressure washer includes the
following activities:
► Inspecting hoses, couplings, connectors and gaskets
periodically and having a worn component replaced.
► Having worn, missing or damaged safety labels replaced
by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
The pump is pre-filled with pump oil and does not require
replacement or maintenance.
If you make a warranty claim for a component that has not
been serviced or maintained properly, coverage may be
denied.
17.3 Lubricating the Gaskets
To lubricate the gaskets:
► Grease the gaskets (1) with food-safe fitting grease.
