11 Switching the Pressure Washer On and Off
10.2 Resetting the Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor
To reset the ground fault circuit interruptor:
► If depressing the TEST button has interrupted the current
and turned the LED (2) OFF, depress the RESET
button (3).
The LED should turn back ON again.
► If the LED does not turn ON after depressing the RESET
button, the GFCI is not working. Disconnect the pressure
washer from the power supply and have it inspected by an
authorized STIHL servicing dealer before further use.
11.1 Switching On
WARNING
Never operate your pressure washer if it is damaged,
improperly adjusted or maintained, not completely and
securely assembled or not functioning properly, @ 5.5. To
reduce the risk of personal injury, always wear proper
clothing and protective apparel, including proper eye
protection, when operating your pressure washer, @ 5.4.
Before switching on:
► Make sure you have a secure and firm footing.
► Stand upright.
► Always hold and operate the pressure washer with one
hand firmly on the spray gun and your other hand firmly on
the spray lance. Always hold the pressure washer with two
hands in this manner.
To switch the pressure washer on:
► Set the switch to the I position.
NOTICE
When the pressure washer is switched on, voltage
fluctuations may occur under unfavorable mains conditions
with a power line impedance greater than 0.15 Ohm. The
voltage fluctuations may negatively affect other connected
electrical appliances.
11.2 Switching Off
