7.5 Attaching and removing the nozzle
7.5.1 Attaching the nozzle
► If attaching the fan-jet nozzle: Align the nozzle(1) so that
the lug(2) lines up with the recess(3) in the spray
lance(4).
► Push the nozzle(1) into the spray lance(4).
The nozzle(1) audibly engages.
► If the nozzle(1) cannot be pushed easily into the spray
lance(4): Grease the gasket on the nozzle(1) with grease
for fittings.
7.5.2 Removing the nozzle
► Press and hold the safety latch (1).
► Pull out the nozzle (2).
8.1 Connecting the water filter
If the pressure washer is to be operated with sandy water or
with water from cisterns, a water filter must be connected in-
line between the water tap and the water hose. The water
filter filters sand and dirt out of the water and thus protects
the components of the pressure washer from damage.
Depending on the market, the water filter may be supplied
with the pressure washer.
► Unscrew connector(1) from water tap(2).
► Screw water filter(3) onto water tap(2) and tighten hand-
tight.
► Screw connector(1) onto water filter(3) and tighten hand-
tight.
► Push hose coupling(4) of water hose(5) onto
connector(1).
