IMPORTANT: This information must
be passed on to everyone who wears

possible level of protection and
comfort when using this safety
product, it is essential to observe the
following information.
1. Caution!
Safety boots with protection against
cuts from hand-held chain saws:
No protective equipment can provide
total protection against injuries from
power tools (such as a chain saw).
The degree of protective effect
depends on a great many factors
(such as engine speed and torque,
intensity and duration of contact with
the power tool, etc.).
These safety boots are no substitute
for a safe working technique.
Improper use of the power tool can
result in accidents. It is therefore
essential to observe the safety
regulations issued by the respective
authorities (employer’s liability
insurance associations, etc.) and the
safety instructions in the Instruction
Manual for the power tool being used.
Any modifications to the product can
impair the protective effect.
Therefore do not modify the product
in any way. If the product has been
modified it must be disposed of
immediately.
We recommend replacing the
product because of wear: in regular
use (several times per month) after
max. two years. In occasional use,
after max. five years (also because of
technical progress of the products in
the meantime). The product need not
be replaced if it still complies with the
current standards and regulations
and shows no signs of wear relevant
to safety.
2.
Before using these boots make sure
that they fit correctly, e.g. by trying
them on. Fastening systems provided
on the boots must be used correctly.
The use of unauthorized
accessories, e.g. inserts, may
adversely affect the boots’ protective
function.
