In order to comply with the kickback
performance requirements of § 5.11 of
ANSI Standard B 175.1-2000, do not
use replacement saw chain unless it has
been designated as meeting the ANSI
§ 5.11 requirements on this specific
powerhead or has been designated as
"low kickback" saw chain

in
accordance with the ANSI B 175.1-2000
standard.
Since new bar/chain combinations may
be developed after publication of this
manual, ask your STIHL dealer for the
latest STIHL recommendations.
Other bars and chains available for this
powerhead are:
STIHL yellow-labeled bars:
for .325" and 3/8" pitch:
Rollomatic "S" with sprocket nose
40, 45, 50 or 60 cm
(16, 18, 20 or 24") 3/8" pitch only
Duromatic with stellite tipped nose
40, 45 or 50 cm (16, 18 or 20"), 60 cm
(24") 3/8" pitch only

to normal wear and tear.
