Simultaneously pressing the throttle trigger lock‐
out and blipping the throttle trigger causes the
master control lever to jump from the warm
start n position to the operating position F.
To switch off the engine, set the master control
lever to Stop 0.

If the fuel tank has run empty (engine stalled

18.3 Fuel pump
Press the fuel pump bulb several times – even if
it is still full of fuel:

If the fuel tank has run empty (engine stalled
out)
18.4 Holding the chain saw
There are two ways to hold the chain saw during
starting.
18.4.1 On the ground

► Place the chain saw securely on the ground –
assume a steady stance – the saw chain must
not touch any objects and also must not touch
the ground
► With the left hand on handlebar, press the
chain saw firmly against the ground – thumb
wrapped around the handlebar
► Place your right foot through the rear handle
