If the engine doesn’t start:
If you did not move the Master Control
lever to warm start position j quickly
enough after the engine began to fire,
the combustion chamber has flooded.
: Set the Master Control lever to $ d
: Loosen the screw (6) on the filter
cover (7).
: Swing the filter cover up and take it
off.
: Pull off the spark plug boot (8).
: Unscrew and dry off the spark plug.
: Open the throttle wide.
: Crank the engine several times with
the starter to clear the combustion
chamber.
: Refit the spark plug. Connect the
spark plug boot (press it down
firmly) and reassemble all other
parts.
: Set Master Control lever to n
(starting throttle position).
: Move choke lever to warm start j –
even if engine is cold.
: Now start the engine.
Fuel tank run dry and then
refueled:
: Pull starter rope several times until
fuel system is primed.
