e)
Avoid placing your body in an unnatural posi‐
tion. Keep proper footing and balance at all
times. This enables better control of the elec‐
tric power tool in unexpected situations.
f)
Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair and clothes
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jew‐
elry or long hair may be caught in moving
parts.
g)
If dust extraction and collection devices can be
mounted, they should be connected and used
correctly. Use of dust collection can reduce
dust-related hazards.
h)
Do not be lulled into a false sense of security
and do not disregard the safety rules even if
you are thoroughly familiar with the electric
power tool. Carelessness can result in serious
injuries within fractions of a second.
22.5 Electric power tool use and
care
a)
Do not force the electric power tool. Use the
correct electric power tool for your application.
The correct electric power tool will do the job
better and safer at the rate for which it was
designed.
b)
Do not use an electrical power tool if its switch
is defective. Any electric power tool that can‐
not be switched on or off via the switch is dan‐
gerous and must be repaired.
c)
Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or take a removable battery pack out of
the electric power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing
power tools. Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of starting the electric power
tool accidentally.
d)
Unused electric power tools must be stored
out of the reach of children. Do not let anyone
use the electric power tool who is not familiar
with it or has not read the instructions and
advice. Electric power tools are dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.
e)
Maintain electric power tools and accessories
with care. Check for misalignment or jamming
of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the functionality
of the electric power tool. If damaged, have
the electric power tool repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly main‐
tained electrical power tools.
f)
Keep cutting tools clean and sharp. Carefully
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to jam and are easier to
control.
g)
Use the electric power tool, accessories, tool
bits etc. in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of the electric
power tool for operations different from those
intended may result in a hazardous situation.
h)
Keep handles and grip surfaces dry, clean and
free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and
grip surfaces doe not allow proper operation
and control of the electric power tool in unfore‐
seen situations.
22.6 Battery tool use and care
a)
Recharge only with the charger specified by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
one type of battery pack may create a risk of
fire when used with another battery pack.
b)
Use power tools only with specifically designa‐
ted battery packs. Use of any other battery
packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
c)
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small
objects that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery termi‐
nals together may cause burns or a fire.
d)
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejec‐
ted from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irri‐
tation or burns.
e)
Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam‐
aged or modified. Damaged or modified bat‐
teries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
f)
Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or
excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or
temperature above 130 °C (265 °F) may
cause explosion.
g)
Follow all charging instructions and do not
charge the battery pack or tool outside the
temperature range specified in the instruc‐
tions. Charging improperly or at temperatures
outside the specified range may damage the
battery and increase the risk of fire.
22.7 Service
a
)
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement
