Hold the hedge trimmer only by the insulated
handles because the cutting blade may acci‐
dentally cut through hidden power lines. Blade
contact with a live line can also render metal
machine parts live and cause an electric
shock.

cutting area. Cables may be hidden in hedges
or bushes and get nicked accidentally by the
blade.

Do not use your hedge trimmer in bad
weather, in particular not in thunderstorms.
