18.2 Troubleshooting Charger
There is a electrical
malfunction.
► Remove battery and insert it again.
► Switch on the shrub shears.
Shrub shears
runtime is too short.
Battery not fully charged ► Fully charge the battery.
Normal battery life has
been exceeded.
► Replace the battery.
Charge process does
not start when
battery is inserted in
the charger.
1 LED glows red. Battery too hot or too cold. ► Allow battery to cool down / warm up.
1 LED flashes red. There is a malfunction in
the battery or charger.
► Remove battery and insert it again.
► If the 1 LED continues to flash red: Do not use the
charger and contact your STIHL servicing dealer.

► Remove the battery.
► Clean contacts on charger.
► Fit the battery.
