Cleaning and maintenance
Wash the visor with a soft cloth and a lukewarm solution of soap and water after
each use.
Transport
The visor is very well protected when it is in the sales packaging.
STIHL recommends transporting the visor in the sales packaging.
Storage
The visor should be stored in such a way that the following conditions are fulfilled:
The visor is clean and dry.
The visor should ideally be in the sales packaging, in a well ventilated, dry room.
The visor is not exposed to extreme temperatures, strong UV radiation or liquids.
Durability
It is difficult to predict the life of a visor.
When used outdoors, it is recommended that the visor be replaced at least every
two years. The visor may need to be replaced more often in difficult operating
conditions.
A visor that is faulty, damaged, scratched, warped or has been subjected to impact
should be replaced immediately.
