The carburetor has been adjusted for
optimum performance under the
barometric pressure and climatic
conditions at the factory.
Basic setting
This setting
is
the starting point for fine
tuning and can be used as the
standard setting.
• Check air filter and clean it if
necessary.
• Carefully screw the high speed
adjusting screw (H) and low speed
adjusting screw (L) down onto their
seats (clockwise) and make the
following adjustments:
H Open 1 full turn
L Open 1 full tum
• Start the engine and adjust idling
speed with the idle speed adjusting
screw

or LD:
cutting tool must not rotate.
This standard setting
is
the optimum
setting
of
the high speed adjusting screw
for normal operation at an altitude of
about 300 m/1000
It above sea level.

ensures your machine will deliver
maximum power, be fuel efficient and
operate reliably.
It
may be necessary fine-tune the
carburetor
if
operating
conditions
change,
e.g. higher or lower altitudes, extreme
changes
in
humidity and temperature or
if
you
fit
a different cutting tool:

below ensure maximum performance
under
