The integrated limited access lock is manually operated by using a
separate key. When locked, it locks the trigger and prevents the disas-
sembly of the pistol. The integrated limited access lock can only be
locked when the pistol is cocked (trigger in the forward position).
To lock the integrated limited access lock, insert the key into the lock
and press down while turning the key towards the letter “S” (Safe) on
the frame. This will block the trigger system and prevent disassembly
of the pistol. To unlock the integrated limited access lock, insert the
key into the lock and press down while turning the key towards the
letter “F” (Fire) on the frame.
Never leave your STEYR pistol where it could be accessed
by a child or other unauthorized person.
