3. With your left hand, with your
palm facing up pull the cocking
slide back and lock it in the rear
position by turning it clockwise
and allowing it to rest on the in-
dentation on the receiver;
4. Turn the cocking slide counter-
clockwise with the thumb of your
left hand and allow the cocking
slide and bolt carrier to move
forward from the force of the re-
coil spring;
5. Check to see of the bolt has
locked completely;
