1. Hold the barrel with your left

hand;

2. Press the pressure piece of the

gas regulator in, while turning it

clockwise until its slot is in the

same position as the nose of the

gas cylinder;

3. Take the gas regulator out;

4. Use the right thrustpiece of the

bolt carrier to press the gas pis-

ton out;

5. Pull the gas piston and gas pis-

ton spring out.

To field strip the gas operating system, follow the instructions below:
