Finish the Installation (cont.)
Open the hot and cold water supplies to the whirlpool.
Make any adjustments on the faucets or controls according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Seal the joints between the whirlpool and the finished floor or baseboard with silicone sealant.
Allow the sealant to cure according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Install Miscellaneous Accessories
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Do not make additional holes in the wall surround or whirlpool
without adding adequate sealant. Holes made to install any accessories may cause leakage. The
improper installation of accessories may void the warranty.
NOTE: For installations with wall surrounds, install the shower curtain rod above the top of the wall
surrounds.
Install any accessories according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Verify that any holes in the finished wall are properly sealed.
When construction is completed, check for leaks.
17. Clean-Up After Installation
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use any acid-based cleaners on fixtures made of VikrellTM.
Wipe your whirlpool with a soft cloth after each use to prevent a build-up of soap and scum.

.
Avoid cleaning products that contain acetone, ethyl alcohol, amyl or ethyl acetate, sodium
hypochlorite, toluene, or phenol. These products can damage the finish.
Extreme heat such as that generated by cigarettes or portable heaters can damage Vikrell surfaces.
Do not use such items near your whirlpool.
