NOTE: If installing the 660SP series door to a 48” (1219
mm) Sterling 6203 series shower unit, cut the bottom
track to 42-1/4” (1073 mm). If installing the 660SP series
door to a 60” (1524 mm) Sterling 6204 series shower
unit, cut the bottom track to 54-1/4” (1378 mm).
NOTE: For all other installations, measure distance “A“
and cut the bottom track.
IMPORTANT! This shower door includes two sets
of wall jambs, tapered and non-tapered. If you are
installing the door to a Sterling shower unit, use the
tapered set. For all other bath units, use the non-tapered
set.
NOTE: This installation is shown with non-tapered wall
jambs.
File the bottom track edges to fit curved corners
of the shower or bath unit.
Measure and mark the exact center of the bottom
track. Center the guide and mark the hole.
Drill a 1/8” hole at the marked location and
attach the guide with a #6-32 x 5/16” flathead
screw.
Center the bottom track on the ledge with the
leg to the outside. Tape in place and mark the
position.
Position the wall jamb with the “groove” side up.
Drill a 3/16” hole 3” (76 mm) from each end and
one in the center between the two holes.
Position the wall jambs over the bottom track.
Snip/file bottom edges for a snug fit.
Plumb both wall jambs. Mark the screw holes.
NOTE: If tapered wall jambs are used, the
tapered area should be located on the threshold,
with the taper against the wall.
