Check the tool for any
damage (mains connec-
tion lead, housing etc.)
before putting it into
operation and do not use
the tool if it is damaged.
Repairs must only be
carried out by a qualified
electrician.
Use the tool in dry rooms
only.
Do not leave the tool
unattended.
Keep the tool out of
children's reach.
Unplug when not in
use or during prolonged
work breaks (more than
30 min.).
Only use the tool in well
ventilated rooms to pre-
vent the build-up of harm-
ful vapours.
Take care when working
with the tool as you could
burn yourself.
While the tool is in use or
cooling down, do not
touch the blade or allow it
to come into contact with
readily flammable objects.
Do not bring into contact
with water.
Do not use in an explosive
atmosphere.
When changing the blade,
allow the tool to cool
down first.
Use genuine parts only.
Safety warnings
Attach metal support
stand.
Undo screw with hexagon
socket spanner (4 mm),
insert blade and re-tighten
screw.
Allow tool to heat up for
6 min. It is now ready for
use.
When working with the
tool, always keep it parallel
with the working surface.
Move the tool forward
wherever possible.

The Styrofix is suitable
for cutting the following

Rigid foam boards, such
as polystyrene, Sagex or
Alporit
Pipe lagging and poly-
styrene ceiling tiles
