Uses
The hot air tool is ideal for working on smaller-type components
and shrink tubing. In particular, it has come to be appreciated by
electronics engineers, car mechanics and electrical fitters. Here
are just some of its many uses:
■ Shrink-fitting connectors for cables and wires.
■ Fitting heat-shrinkable products.

■ Removing stickers and films from painted and smooth
surfaces.
Peeling off self-adhesive tapes
■ Work on plastic parts, e.g. in model-making.
Shaping
■ Soldering SMD components.
■ Repairs and corrections to electronic SMD assemblies.

Functional warranty
This STEINEL product has been manufactured with utmost care,
tested for proper operation and safety and then subjected to ran-
dom sample inspection. STEINEL guarantees that it is in perfect
condition and proper working order. The product is guaranteed
for 12 months or 500 hours of operation commencing on the
date of sale to the consumer. We will remedy defects caused
by material flaws or manufacturing faults. The guarantee will
be met by repair or replacement of defective parts at our own
discretion. This guarantee does not cover damage to wearing
parts, damage or defects caused by improper treatment or main-
tenance nor does it cover breakage as a result of the product
being dropped. Further consequential damage to other objects is
excluded. Claims under the guarantee shall only be accepted if
the product is sent fully assembled and well packed complete
with sales slip or invoice (date of purchase and dealer's stamp) to
the appropriate Service Centre or handed in to the dealer within
the first 6 months. Repair service: Our
customer service department will repair
any faults not covered by the warranty or
occurring after the warranty has expired.

the Service Centre.

Disposal
Do not throw devices, rechargeable batteries/batteries
into household waste, fire or water at the end of their
useful life. Rechargeable batteries/batteries should be
collected, recycled or disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner.
EU countries only:
In accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC, defective or spent
rechargeable batteries/batteries must be recycled. Waste
rechargeable batteries/batteries can be returned to the point of
purchase or to a collection facility for hazardous substances.

to illuminating the area you are working on, it also serves as
a "tool ON" indicator light.

tać poniższe wskazówki iich
przestrzegać. Wprzypadku nie-
przestrzegania instrukcji obsługi,
urządzenie może stać się źródłem
zagrożeń.
Podczas używania elektronarzędzi
należy przestrzegać następujących,
podstawowych zasad bezpieczeń-
stwa pracy, aby wykluczyć ryzyko
porażenia prądem elektrycznym, ob-
rażeń oraz pożaru. Brak ostrożności
podczas posługiwania się urządze-
niem może spowodować pożar lub
obrażenia.
Przed uruchomieniem urządzenia
należy sprawdzić je pod kątem ewen-
tualnych uszkodzeń (przewód zasila-
jący, obudowę itp.). Nie wolno uru-
chamiać uszkodzonego urządzenia.
Nie pozostawiać pracującego urzą-
dzenia bez nadzoru.
Nie pozostawiać dzieci bez nadzoru,
aby mieć pewność, że nie bawią się
urządzeniem.
Pierwsze uruchomienie
Przy pierwszym uruchomieniu może
pojawić się trochę dymu. Dym pocho-
dzi ze środków wiążących, które
uwalniają się przy pierwszym użyciu
na skutek ciepła folii izolacyjnej ogrze-
wania.
Aby zapewnić szybkie wydostanie się
dymu, należy odłożyć urządzenie na
podstawkę. Przy pierwszym użyciu
należy zadbać oodpowiednią wenty-
lację miejsca pracy. Uwalniający się
dym jest nieszkodliwy!
Uwzględnić wpływy
otoczenia.
Nie zostawiać elektronarzędzi na
deszczu. Nie używać wilgotnych
elektronarzędzi ani nie pracować
wwilgotnym lub mokrym otoczeniu.
Zachować ostrożność podczas uży-
wania urządzeń wpobliżu palnych
materiałów. Nie kierować urządzenia
przez dłuższy czas wto samo miej-
sce. Nie stosować wprzypadku wy-
stępowania wybuchowej atmosfery.
Ciepło może zostać skierowane na
materiały palne, które są zakryte
iniewidoczne.
Zachować ostrożność
przed porażeniem
prądem elektrycznym.
Nie dotykać ciałem uziemionych
elementów, np. rur, kaloryferów, ku-
chenek, lodówek. Nie pozostawiać
włączonego urządzenia bez nadzoru.
Zasady bezpieczeństwa
Przed przystąpieniem do użytkowania należy zapoznać się
zniniejszą instrukcją obsługi. Tylko prawidłowe posługiwanie
się urządzeniem zapewnia długoletnią, niezawodną i bezuster-
kową eksploatację.
