Step 01

Setting up an account

You’ll need your own customer account on the

manufacturer’s website so that the licence you

have purchased can be assigned to you perso-

nally. You can set up such an account here:

In your customer account overview, please click

on “Redeem Download Access Code” and then

enter the activation code from the card in the

cardboard box.

Step 02

An activation code will then be displayed in your

customer account.

This is different from the Download Access Code

on the card; it is basically the new serial number

for your software which you will need later to ac-

tivate your new software on your computer.

Then download the installation programme for

your new software. You can do this using the

Steinberg Download Assistant.

Please make sure you select exactly the version

you have purchased for download.

For example, if you have bought a licence for

“Cubase AI”, you will be able to download “Cu-

base Pro”, but you will not be able to activate it.
