Steinberg

After purchasing Steinberg software from Thomann,

you’ll receive either an e-mail with your activation

code, or the software in a box which includes a small

card with the activation code, depending on the soft-

ware you bought.

In both cases you can redeem the activation code on

the manufacturer’s website.

You’ll download your software directly from the man-

ufacturer, too.

For some Steinberg products, a USB eLicenser

ﬂash drive is required. It comes with the boxed

version of Cubase Artist and Cubase Pro.

With the smaller versions of the software (Ele-

ments, AI., LE), you can also save the licence to

your local hard drive if you wish.

The USB ﬂash drive is thus not necessary for

these versions, but it can be used optionally

What is required for all cases is the eLicenser

Control Center, which will automatically be in-

stalled on your computer when you install the

software.
