Changing the appearance of individual nal repeat ending
segments
You can change the appearance of the line ends in the nal segments of individual repeat
endings.
PROCEDURE
1. Select the repeat endings whose nal segment appearance you want to change.
2. In the Properties panel, activate End of line in the Repeat Endings group.
3.
Select one of the following options from the menu:
● Open, short
● Open, full length
● Closed
RESULT
The end of the line of the nal segment in the selected repeat endings is changed.
Repeat endings in MusicXML les
All aspects of repeat endings can be imported from and exported in MusicXML les.
However, while MusicXML can represent this, segments in the middle of sets of endings cannot
have an open right-hand end in
Dorico Elements.
