● To copy the settings of one cell to another, select a cell, press Alt and drag it to another
cell.
● To move a cell, drag it to an empty cell.

To swap the contents of 2 cells, press Ctrl/Cmd and drag one cell to the other.
NOTE
Drag and drop also works between different pages.
● To add a page to a layout, click Add New Page.
●
To remove a page, click Remove Current Page.
●
To specify the label for a cell, use the top 3 text elds in the Inspector.
The rst text eld shows the long name, as it is shown in the cell. In the second eld, you
can enter a name that can contain up to 8 characters, and up to 4 characters in the third.
NOTE
This is useful if your hardware devices have value elds that only display a limited number
of characters, for example.
Apple Remote (macOS only)
Many Apple computers come with an Apple Remote, a small hand-held device that allows you to
remotely control specic features in Cubase.
● To open the Apple Remote Control settings, select Studio > Studio Setup, and from the
Devices list, select Apple Remote Control.
