The following options are available:
Cursor
Moves the selected event to the project cursor position. If you selected several
events on the same track, the following events keep their relative position.
Origin
Moves the selected events to the positions at which they were originally recorded.
Front/Back
Moves the selected events to the front or back, respectively. This is useful if you have
overlapping audio events and you want to play back another event.
Moving via the Info Line
PROCEDURE
1. Select the event that you want to move.
2. On the info line, double-click the Start eld and enter a new value for the event start.
RESULT
The event is moved by the set value.
Renaming Events
PROCEDURE
Do one of the following:
Select the events and type in a new name in the File eld on the info line.
Change the track name, hold down a modier key, and press Return to rename all
events according to the track.
Event Resize Options
You can resize events by moving their start or end positions individually.
To resize events, you can use the Object Selection, the Trim, or the Scrub tool.
IMPORTANT
When resizing events, automation data is not taken into account.
