Customizing the User Interface Colors
You can change the color of the Cubase desktop, the track types, the Project window, and the
Editor elements.
PROCEDURE
1. In the Preferences dialog, select User Interface> Color Schemes.
2. Do one of the following:
Activate a default color scheme by clicking on it.
Click Choose Custom Color and the color selector pane to select a new color.
RESULT
The color scheme is instantly applied.

Allow you to select a color.
Context Menu
Allows you to copy, paste or reset colors.
Current Color/New Color
Shows the current color and the new color.
Hue/Saturation/Brightness
Allows you to edit the colors numerically.
OK
Confirms the color changes.
NOTE
You must restart the application for some changes to take effect.
Coloring Tracks, Parts, or Events Manually
You can apply colors to individual tracks and events/parts for an easier overview in the Project
window.
PROCEDURE
1. In the Project window, do one of the following:
To change the color of an event or part, select it.
To change the color of a track, select the track and deselect all its events or parts.
2. On the toolbar, select the Color tool, click again, and select a color from the pop-up menu.
