NOTE: TheThebentimeclockisequippedwithalithiumbatterywithan
approximate4yearpowerreserve.
Throughouttheprogrammingofthetimeclock,ifthereisapproximately90secondsof
inactivity(nobuttonsarepushed),thedisplaywillautomaticallyresettonormal
operation.Iftheclockresetsandtheprograminformationyouareenteringorediting
isnotstored,thetimeclockwilldefaulttotheprevioussettings.Thenewinformation
willhavetobereprogrammed.
A. SETTINGTHETIMECLOCK
1. Thetimeclockisdeliveredina"sleep"mode.Toactivatewithoutaservice
voltage,pressandreleaseoneofthefourbuttons.
2. Selectthenationallanguagebypressingthe"◄"or"►"buttonuntilthedesiredlanguageis
flashing.Press"OK"tosavetheselection.
3. Tosettheyear,pressthe"◄"or"►"buttonuntilthecurrentyearisdisplayed.Press"OK"to
save.
4. Setthemonthbyusingthe"◄"or"►"buttonuntilthecurrentmonthisdisplayed.Press
"OK"toselect.
5. Setthedayofthemonthusingthe"◄"or"►"buttonuntilthedayofthemonthisdisplayed.
Thisdisplaywillshowthemonthselected,followedbytheday(09.01).Press"OK"toselect.
6. Setthecurrenthourofthedayusingthe"◄"or"►"buttonuntilthehourisdisplayed.Make
surethecorrectam/pmhourisselected.Press"OK".
7. Settheminutesusingthe"◄"or"►"button.Press"OK"tosave.
NOTE: Atthispoint,thetimeclockshouldcontin uewithsetupofdaylightsaving stime;however,
theclockmayreturntothenormaloperatingmodeandskipthedaylightsavingssection. If
thisoccurs,pressthe"MENU"buttonuntilth e“¹”isflashingatth etopofthedisplay.

8. Tosetwhetherornotdaylightsavingstime(DST)willbeutilized,pressthe"►"buttonuntil"SUM/WIN"is
displayed.Press"OK".

NOTE: Ifdaylightsavingstimeistoberecognized,asnowflakeorasunwillappearintheclock
display.Asnowflakeindicateswintermonths(daysbetweenlastSaturdayinOctoberand
firstSundayinApril).Asunind icatessummermonths(daysbetweenfirstSaturdayinApril
andlastSundayinOctober).
B. SETTING THE CHARGE (ON) AND CONTROL (OFF) CYCLES
NOTE: Starttimesforeachcharge(on)andcontrol(off)cycleMUSTbeset.TheyDONOTneedtobesetin
sequentialorder.
1. Pressthe“MENU”buttonuntil"Prog"isflashingintheupperportionofthedisplay.Press"OK".
2. Usethe"◄"or"►"buttonuntil"NEWPROG"isflashinginthedisplay.Press"OK"."FREE"andanumberwill
automaticallyappearafterafewsecondstoindicatehowmanyprogramlocationsareavailable.Thereareatotalof
28programlocationsavailableifnoprogramsettingshavebeenentered.
3. Theclockwillautomaticallydisplay"TIMEON"or"TIMEOFF"towardthetopofthedisplay.Belowthis,"On"or"Off"
willbeflashing.Usethe"◄"or"►"buttonuntil“TimeON”displaysandpress“OK”tosetthechargingperiod.
Reminder:“ON”isachargingcycleand“O FF”isacontrolcycle.
