If in doubt, do not use the CD Player and contact the service department immediately. How to Operate your MP3/CD Player Powering your CD Player The MP3/CD Player is powered with either two AA (UM‐3) batteries or an AC adaptor. Please note: Both the batteries or AC adaptor are not supplied as standard. Using batteries (NOT SUPPLIED) 1. Open the battery compartment (3) on the back of the unit by sliding open and gently pulling upwards the battery door. 2. Check the polarity (+/‐) inside the battery compartment. 3. Insert two AA (UM‐3) batteries according to the polarity. 4.

Using an AC adaptor (NOT SUPPLIED AS STANDARD) – 4.5v DC 800Ma – Regulated Adaptor Only 1. 2. 3. 4. Insert the DC plug (at the end of the AC adaptor cord) into the DC input jack (2) Plug the AC adaptor into a 220/230V~ 50Hz AC power socket. The unit will automatically disconnect from using battery power and operate using the AC adaptor.

You can see “ESP” showing on the LCD display (16) The unit will automatically read the CD or MP3‐CD. (For CD, the total track number & elapsed time will show on the LCD display) (For MP3‐CD, the total folder & total track number will show on the LCD display) Tap the PLAY button (4) to play the 1st track on the CD or MP3‐CD.
IMPORTANT! • If you cannot hear any sound but the disc is playing, please check the VOLUME knob (7) is turned up or that the BT ON/OFF switch (14) is set to the OFF position. Tap the PROG button (13)“MEM”& “P01” &“00” will show on the LCD display (15).

Tap the MODE button (12) once, “REP 1” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will repeat playing the current track continuously. 2.Tap the MODE button (12) once again, “REPDIR” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will repeat playing the current folder continuously.(For MP3‐CD only) 3. Tap the MODE button (12) once again, “REP ALL” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will repeat playing the whole CD or MP3‐ CD continuously. 4.
3. The connecting process can take up to 10 seconds. 4. You will hear the “ringing” sound when the connecting process is completed, the BT LED Indicator (16) will light on. 5. You can now listen to the music by using your Bluetooth Speakers orBluetooth Headphones. WARNING! • • • • • • Please do not use earphones while driving, cycling or operating any motorised vehicle. Do not play your earphones at high volume while walking, especially when crossing roads as this can be dangerous.
• • Never leave the CD Player in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places. Keep the MP3/CD Player away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps and motors. The crossed‐out Wheelie Bin logo is used to highlight electrical products that should not be disposed of with normal household waste.
