UNPACKING
When unpacking the tool:
• Carefully remove the tool and accessories from the box
• Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included
• Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping
• Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and safely operated
the tool
WARNING: If any part is missing, do not operate the tool until the missing part is replaced.
Failure to do so could result in possible serious injury
EXTENSION CORDS:
Make sure your extension cord is not damaged. When using an extension cord, be sure
to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product draws.
For lengths more than100 ft, No. 10 AWG extension cords should be used. An undersized
cord results in a drop in line voltage and loss of power and overheating. (NOTE: Table A
below shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere
rating. When in doubt, use the next heavier gauge.The smaller the gauge number, the
heavier the cord.)
