Cleaning
Never immerse the entire device in water.
Unplug the power cable from the socket.
Allow device to cool.
Remove inner pot and rinse with mild cleaning agent.
(do not use aggressive cleaner such as pot cleaner).
Clean hotplate and thermostat contact surface in outer pot with a damp cloth,
taking care not to deform the thermostat. Carefully remove the seal when cleaning
the lid.
Remove all residue from seal and thread it back into the metal ring properly.
If no steam comes out of the steam relief valve, the lid seal has been incorrectly
inserted. If the seal is damaged or brittle, please contact our customer service.
Dry the lid – pour out any condensation that may be present.
Remove valve for cleaning – pull off upper valve weight, clean and re-assemble
properly, otherwise the valve will not close.
Wipe outer housing with a damp cloth with washing up liquid. If the device is not
going to be used for a long time, put lid on loosely upside down so that residual
moisture can escape and no odour build-up will occur.
