CONSUMER SERVICES
For problems with your Handheld Fabric Steamer, please refer to the troubleshooting guide located
above. Additional inquiries should be directed to our consumer support services through our Web
site, steamfast.com.
If you do not have internet access, you may also contact our Consumer Service Department by
telephone, at 1-800-711-6617.
NOTE: In order for our Consumer Service representatives to help you as quickly and
efciently as possible, please have the following information ready before calling:
• Purchase information (where and when you purchased this product)
• Copy of purchase receipt / proof of purchase
• Product serial number (located near electrical specication label on bottom of unit)
For information regarding your 2 Year Limited Warranty, refer to Page 10 of this manual.
Troubleshooting
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Unit fails to heat up. Power Indicator
Light DOES NOT illuminate.
Unit is not plugged in. Plug power cord into electrical outlet.
The Power Switch is pressed Off. Make sure the Power Switch is pressed to
turn the unit On and Power Indicator Light
isilluminated.
Household circuit breaker / ground
fault interrupter has tripped or
blown a fuse.
Reset circuit breaker / ground fault inter-
rupter, or replace fuse. For
assistance, contact a licensed electrician.
Unit is damaged or otherwise in
need of repair.
Immediately cease usage and unplug. Con-
tact Consumer Service for
assistance (see below for details).
Unit heats up, but fails to steam.
Power Indicator Light DOESillu-
minate.
NOTE: Always allow sufcient
time for unit to heat up before
pressing Steam Trigger.
Water tank is empty Refer to Filling Water Tank procedure on
Page 6.
Mineral build-up in unit. Refer to Storage & Care
section on Page 8 for details.
Unit is still heating up. Wait to use the Steam Trigger until the
Steam Indicator Light has turned green.
Steam output is weak or intermit-
tent.
Mineral build-up in unit. Refer to Storage & Care
section on Page 8 for details.
Water is leaking from the Water
Tank.
Too much water is in the Water
Tank.
Check that the water level does not
surpass the Max Fill Line of the Water Tank.
Unit is creating a loud hum or
pumping sound.
Not enough water is in the Water
Tank.
Check the water level. Water level
should be between the Min and
Max Fill Line marked on the Water Tank.
