Critical updates
These are important updates for optimum performance of the Encore generator
When connecting the keypad to the power box and the generator for the first time, it is critical that the keypad and the
generator are set to the same temperature scale setting I.E. Celsius or Fahrenheit. To do so make sure everything is
connected and powered up. The generator does not have to be on and running. Rotate the dial until the last icon on the
right is highlighted. Press and hold the dial in until the setting changes from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa. Release
the dial. This syncs the temperature scale setting between the keypad and the steam generator. You can then press and
hold the dial in until the desired scale is reached.
The keypad needs to be set properly to regulate the temperature of the steam room. The steam generator does not
need to be running for this operation. Rotate the dial until the thermometer is highlighted, seventh icon from the left.
Press the dial and hold it in, the temperature setting for the steam room will be displayed and will be flashing, continue
holding in the dial until you see IN flashing in the display. If the display reads a flashing IN, release the dial and the
setting is correct. If it displays a flashing OUT, continue to press and hold the dial in until the display changes to a
flashing IN, release the dial and the key pad is set to the proper function.

Installation of 9KW and 12KW steam generators.
When connecting the power supply for the 9KW and 12KW steam generators, there may be some difficulty connecting
the 8- & 6-gauge wires into the terminal block. In order to make these connections as easy as possible, you can remove
steam generators wires from the terminal block and wire nut the wires directly to your power source. This will make the
electrical connections easier.
Installation of 6KW
When using the connection terminal block, the connection can become loose due to expansion and contraction from the
heat and the small vibrations caused when the unit is running. After the initial installation the connection must be
checked after 30 days to make sure the connection is still tight (tighten if necessary), then the connection should be
checked about every 6 months after that.
