Charge Your headphones arrive with a bit of juice. We highly recommend you give them a full charge prior to use. This will take about 2 hours. During charging, the LED light will be red. It will turn green when the headphones are fully charged. Please use the USB-C cable we provided. Why? Not all USB-C cables will work with the CORE ANC Headphones. There are different charging standards that are outside of our control. For example: your laptop's USB-C charger will NOT charge the headphones.
The multi-function button (MFB) See that button with the two dots on it? That's the MFB. Hold it for ~1 second to power on the headphones. When the Core ANC is powered on, it will immediately go into "pairing mode" (indicated by a red/blue flashing light). The headphones are now searching for a device to connect to (phone, tablet, laptop, etc). If a previously paired device is within range, it will automatically connect to this device.
Bluetooth Pairing The Core ANC headphones work with any Bluetooth-enabled device - mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and TVs will connect wirelessly with the Core ANC headphones. Step 1: Power on the headphones by holding the MFB (read the previous page). You'll see an LED light flashing an alternating red and blue - this means that the headphones are ready to connect to your device. Bluetooth Menu Step 2: Core ANC Go to the Bluetooth menu in your device, and select "Core ANC".
Controlling the Core ANC See those plus (+) and minus (-) buttons? They do everything you expect them to do. Tap "+" to increase the volume. Tap "-" to decrease the volume. Hold "+" to skip to the next track. Hold "-" to go back to the previous track. Pretty simple, right? If you want to change volume in large increments, tap tap tap away just make sure not to hold.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) This big button turns on and off Active Noise Cancelling. When ANC is on, this LED light is blue. If you don't see a blue light, ANC is off. Please note: The ANC circuitry functions independently of the rest of the headphones. It can be turned on even when the headphones are powered off.
Operating in Cabled Mode Your Core ANC headphones come with a 3.5mm Aux cable. This means your can use the headphones when the battery is dead, or when a wireless connection isn't available (like on an airplane).
Safety Information Warning! Continued exposure to loud noise (more than 85 decibels)(85 dBA) may cause gradual but permanent damage to hearing. Always turn the level of your source down to a low level before placing the headphones on your ears. Gradually turn up volume until you achieve a comfortable level. Never listen at high volumes for long periods. Do not tamper or disassemble the headphones, as doing so will void the warranty. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Be aware of your surroundings.
