Component Function
1 USB-C Connector Used to connect the Hub to a Host Computer.
2 USB-A Port
Connect a USB Peripheral to the Hub (mouse,
ash drive, etc.).
3 USB-C Port
Connect a USB Peripheral to the Hub (mouse,
ash drive, etc.).
Connect a USB-C Power Adapter to the Hub
to power the Hub.
USB Power Delivery 2.0 will deliver 60 watts of
power through a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port
on the Host Laptop.
Data transfer 5Gbps.

A laptop with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port that supports Power Delivery (PD) 2.0 (If
your laptop does not support PD 2.0, you can not use the hub to pass power through
to a laptop).
(Optional) A USB-C Power Adapter
(Optional) An AC Electrical Outlet

Connecting the Hub to a Laptop (Bus Powered)
1. Connect the USB-C Connector on the Hub to a USB-C port on a Host Laptop.
2. Connect a USB Peripheral to the USB-A Port on the Hub.
3. Connect a USB peripheral to the USB-C Port on the Hub.
Connecting the Hub Using PD 2.0
Make sure that the USB-C port on the Host Laptop supports USB Power Delivery 2.0.
1. Connect the USB-C plug on the USB-C Power Adapter to the USB-C Port on the
Hub.
2. Connect the USB-C Power Adapter to an AC Electrical Outlet.
3. Connect the USB-C Connector on the Hub to a USB-C port on a Host Laptop.
4. Connect a USB Peripheral to the USB-A Port on the Hub.
Troubleshooting
I can not use the Hub to charge a Laptop
To use the hub to power and charge your laptop, make sure that the USB-C port on
your laptop supports USB Power Delivery 2.0.
Some laptops require 60W or more to support USB Power Delivery 2.0. If your laptop
requires 60W or more, you won’t be able to use the USB Power Delivery 2.0 feature.
