• DisplayPort enabled computer system/video card (compatible with both Multi-
mode DisplayPort DP++ and Single-mode DisplayPort video cards)
• DVI-D (digital) enabled display device (i.e. monitor, projector, HDTV, etc.)
Installation
1.  Make sure the video display device (i.e. monitor, projector, HDTV, etc.) is turned o, 
before connecting to the adapter. 
2.  Connect a standard male/male DVI-D cable from the converter adapter to the video 
display device.
3.  Turn on the video display device.

4.  Connect the DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort connector on the converter adapter to 
the video source device (i.e. computer, laptop, etc.). The computer can be on or o, 
as it should be able to automatically detect and congure the adapter and display 
device (refer to documentation that came with the computer). 
5.  Once the external display is detected and congured, the video output should be 
visible on the display device. Some adjustments may be necessary from the video 
source devices output settings for optimal viewing.
