To whom it may concern,
This letter hereby certifies that the above StarTech.com part number is in compliance with the
European Directive 2011/65/EU on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) that include Pb,
Hg, Cd, Cr6+, PBB, and PBDE. The product is also compliant to the amendment Directive (EU)
2015/863, which added four more substances that include DEHP, BBP, DBP, and DIBP. The RoHS
exemptions that apply to this product are: None.
This product is also compliant with the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006, concerning the Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). The product and its components do not contain
any of the Candidate listed 197 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) above the threshold of
0.1% by weight. None of the 69 Restricted Substances listed in Annex XVII are present in excess of
thresholds set by the regulation.
