4. Connect the monitor(s) to the output port on the Local Unit. The Local Unit is ready to
operate now.
Copy EDID (Port 1 only)
When using an EDID compliant display device, the ST122UTPAL’s EDID Copy function will enable
proper EDID communication between the monitor and the computer’s video card for optimal
video quality. Users can enable this EDID communication by following the instructions below:
1. Plug in the provided power adapter to the Local Unit.
2. Connect the EDID compliant display device to the “Port 1” output on the Local Unit.
3. Press and hold the “EDID Copy” button on the side panel of the Local Unit for about two (2)
seconds. Release button “EDID Copy” immediately after two conrmation beeps.
4. If one long beep occurs, it means that the display device is not properly connected to “Port 1”
on the Local Unit or does not contain proper EDID information. Please repeat Step2 to 3 to try
again or attempt with a dierent display device.
