Introduction The StarTech.com 7-Port PCI Express to USB 2.0 Adapter Card adds an additional 6 external and 1 internal USB 2.0 ports to any PCI Express compatible computer system. Designed for versatility and performance with support for high speed USB 2.0 data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps, this low profile USB card also includes a standard profile (full height) bracket for installation in full form factor cases.
Installation WARNING! PCI Express cards, like all computer equipment, can be severely damaged by static electricity. Be sure that you are properly grounded before opening your computer case or touching your PCI Express card. StarTech.com recommends that you wear an antistatic strap when installing any computer component. If an anti-static strap is unavailable, discharge yourself of any static electricity build-up by touching a large grounded metal surface (such as the computer case) for several seconds.
