Introduction The MPEX4S952 4 Port RS232 Mini PCI Express Serial Card with 16550 UART and the MPEX2S1P552 2S1P Mini PCI Express Serial Parallel Combo Card turns a mini-PCIe slot into either four RS232 (DB9) serial ports or two RS232 (DB9) serial ports and one IEEE 1284 parallel port - cost-saving solutions for adding legacy serial/parallel support for embedded systems that aren’t normally compatible.
