Verifying Installation
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/Server 2008 R2/7
From the main desktop, right-click on “My Computer” (“Computer” in Vista/7), then
select Manage. In the new Computer Management window, select Device Manager
from the left window panel.
Double-click on the “Ports (COM & LPT)” option. The additional COM ports will be
listed.
Right-click on the rst added COM port and
select “Properties”. Select the “Data Rate” tab
along the top and look for the setting Crystal/
Clock Frequency. If it is set to 14.7456MHz, then
your installation is complete. If the frequency is
anything other than 14.7456MHz, click Detect
Crystal/Clock Frequency. Click OK to nish.
Repeat for the second COM port.
