Introduction
The PEX2S952PW 2 Port PCI Express RS232 Serial Adapter Card with Power Output
turns a PCI Express slot into 2 RS-232 (DB9) serial connections and the ports provide
power output to your devices.
Suitable for many RS232 powered serial applications, and including both low and full
prole brackets, the selectable 5V or 12V power option is able to output using pin 1,
4, 8 or 9, allowing you to congure the card to suit the requirements of your powered
RS232 devices.
The PCI express serial card is based on a native single chip design, that allows you
to harness the full capability of PCI Express (PCIe) - providing optimum reliability
and speed while reducing the load applied to the CPU by as much as 48% over
conventional (bridge chip) serial cards.
