changeseachtimeyoupressthe button.
Whentheprinterison-line,itcannxeive andprintdatafromthecomputer.
Whentheprinterisoff-line,itstopsprintingandsendsthecomputerasignal
indicatingthatit cannotacceptdata.
Theprinterpowersup intheon-linestatusifpaperisloaded.Ifpaperis not
loaded, the printer powers up off-line with the
“PAPER OUT” message
blinking.Whenyouloadpaper,theprintergoeson-line.

Whenyouholdthe I

buttondownforonesecondwiththe
pushtractormode,thepnntergoesoff-lineanddisplaysthe’’SHORTTEAR-
OFF’: message,then the printeralso feedsthe paper forwardapproxi-
matelytwoinchesforward.Thisallowsyoutocutitoffjustbelowthelast
lineprinted.

paperfeedsbackwardstoppingwhereyouleft off.
NOTE: Thisfunctionisvalidonlywhenthebufferis empty.
PAPERFEEDbutton
Ifyoupressthisbuttonwhileoff-line,thepaperwillfeedforward.Ifyouhold
thebuttondown,theprinterwillperformconsecutivelinefeeds.

paperwillfeedautomaticallyto thetop of thenextpage.This is explained
