Set Screen Lock
You can set an unlock pattern to prevent unauthorized people from using the device without your
permission.
1. In idle mode, open the application list and select Settings>Security>Set up screen lock.
2. You have 3 options for screen lock; Pattern, PIN and Password. Select one of them.
3. Just follow the process according to the screen shows and select Confirm to save.
* NOTE 1: Once you set screen lock, your phone will ask to unlock it whenever you turn it on.
* NOTE 2: If you forget the unlock pattern, PIN or password, bring your phone to service center to
unlock it.
Lock Your USIM Card
You can lock your phone by activating the PIN supplied with your USIM card.
1. In idle mode, open the application list and select Settings>Security>Set up SIM card lock.
2. Enter your PIN and select OK.
* NOTE 1: Once you set PIN lock enabled, your phone will ask to unlock it whenever you turn your
phone on.
* NOTE 2: If you enter an incorrect PIN too many times, your USIM card will be blocked. You must
enter PUK (PIN Unlock Key) to unlock the USIM.
* NOTE 3: If you block your USIM card by entering an incorrect PUK, bring the card to your service
provider to unlock it.
