dual access The requirement for the presentation of two
separate, authorized credentials in order to gain
entry through an access controlled opening.
ethernet The most common networking standard in the

exit hardware Lock chassis type that supports exit hardware trim

extended unlock The extra period of time the lock will unlock when
an authorized credential with extended unlock
privileges is presented.

credential. Access is granted only when the badge
ID and the issue code match the current database
information.
