9.5.3 Setting up the Individual Call Acknowledgment
The GX1600 and GX1700 can select either reply message “Able” (default) or
“Unable” when the individual reply setting (described in the previous section)
is set to “AUTOMATIC”.
When the individual reply setting (described in the previous section) is set
to “AUTOMATIC”, the GX1600 and GX1700 can be setup to reply “Able”
(default) or “Unable” to a received individual call. When “Unable” is selected
the GX1600 and GX1700 will transmit an “Unable” reply to the calling station
to inform them you are away from your radio.
