8.4 SIMPLEX/DUPLEX CHANNEL USE
Refer to the VHF MARINE CHANNEL CHART (page 104) for instructions on
use of simplex and duplex channels.
NOTE
8.5 USA, INTERNATIONAL, AND CANADA MODE
To change the channel group from USA to International or Canada:
1. Press the
MENU
key to display the menu.

4. Press the ▲ / ▼ key to select “
CHANNEL
GROUP
”, then press the
SELECT
soft key.
5. Press the ▲ / ▼ key to select desired
channel group “
USA
”, “
INTL
”, or “
CAN
”.
6. Press the
ENTER
soft key to store the select-
ed setting.
7. Press the
BACK
soft key to exit the menu.
Refer to the VHF MARINE CHANNEL CHART (page 104) for allocated
channels in each mode.
All channels are factory-programmed in accordance with International,
Industry Canada (Canada), and FCC (USA) regulations. Mode of op-
eration cannot be altered from simplex to duplex or vice-versa.
