12.3 TIME OFFSET
This selection sets the time offset between local time and UTC (time GPS sends
to radio).
1. Press and hold down the
[
CALL

key until

2. Press the

ENT

key, then select “

keys.
3. Press the

ENT

key.
4. Press the

(
UP
)]

(
DOWN
)]
keys to select
time offset from UTC. See illustration below to find
your offset time from UTC. If “
0000
0000
00

:
0000
0000
00” is assigned,
the time is the same as UTC (Universal Time Co-
ordinated or GMT Greenwich Mean Time).
5. Press the
[
ENT
]
key to store the time offset.
6. To exit this menu and return to radio operation mode press the
[
16/9
]
key.
